Lonergan & Lonergan (“L&L”) is a full-service residential real estate law firm in uptown Kingston, New York. Its partners, brothers James and Michael Lonergan, have lived and practiced in the upper Hudson Valley since 1988. In that time they have forged solid working relationships with other attorneys, brokers, banks and credit unions, home inspectors, appraisers, title companies and land surveyors – all of whose cooperation is vital to a successful transaction.

The firm maintains its office in Kingston (Ulster County), but its practice extends north to Greene and Columbia Counties, west to Sullivan and Delaware Counties, east to Dutchess County and south to Orange and Putnam Counties.

On the financing side of real estate transactions, L&L represents banks and credit unions financing real property purchases. The firm is fully conversant and compliant with the new TILA/RESPA integrated disclosure rules and forms. Likewise, it represents sellers financing real property sales with private purchase money mortgages.
